Every business has an origin story. But the version that gets told publicly is almost never the full picture. The sleepless nights, the ideas that flopped, the customers who said no, the weeks where quitting seemed like the rational choice. At Unseen Founder, we publish the parts of the founder journey that usually stay private.
We think the most useful thing a founder can share isn’t their revenue number or their growth hack. It’s why they started when nobody believed in the idea, what they did when everything went sideways, and how they kept showing up anyway. That’s what our interviews focus on. We talk to founders across every industry and ask the uncomfortable questions. What comes out are not highlight reels. They’re honest, sometimes messy accounts of how businesses actually get built.
Our interviews put you in the room with founders who’ve built real companies and founders who are still early, still uncertain, still working out their next move. If you’re launching something or trying to grow what you’ve already started, you’ll find people here who’ve dealt with the same problems you’re facing right now.
Unseen Founder is also a community. It’s where entrepreneurs come when the motivational posts stop working and they need to hear from someone who actually knows what building a company feels like on a Tuesday afternoon when nothing is going right. Every founder has a story that someone else needs to hear. We want to be the place where those stories get told properly.
If you’re tired of startup advice that sounds good but doesn’t match reality, start here. Read a few stories. And if you’ve got one worth telling, get in touch.
About Founder

Rokas Mickevicius
Hi, I’m Rokas, the founder of Unseen Founder.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve launched and managed more than 30 online projects, gaining valuable insights and experience along the way.
In 2016, I had the vision to create a platform that would feature interviews with business founders, enabling me to learn directly from their journeys and share those insights with others seeking guidance and inspiration.
Years later, during a reflective moment on a walk with my dog, I asked myself:
What would I do if money were no object?
The answer brought me back to that very idea from 2016. And that’s when Unseen Founder truly came to life – a space to empower aspiring entrepreneurs by sharing the real stories behind business success.

What We Do?
Everything Unseen Founder brings to founders: founder stories, books, community, and more.
Stories
Founders tell us how it actually went: the deal that fell through, the launch nobody noticed, the decision that finally worked. We publish the whole thing, not the highlight reel.
Skills
Small files that teach Claude one job at a time, from reviewing a contract to writing an invoice. We test each one ourselves before listing it.
Learning Guides
Short, practical reads matched to where your business is right now. Pick your stage, read the guide, do the thing.
Bookshelf
Every featured founder shares the shelf that got them through it. Browse by person and see which books keep showing up.
Community
Somewhere to ask the question you can’t ask on LinkedIn. Founders only, no pitching, no gurus.
Newsletter
One email with what’s new and worth your time: a fresh story, a tested skill, a good book. Nothing sent just to hit a schedule.
Accelerator
(coming soon)
Our next project: a structured program with real feedback instead of recycled course content. We’ll say more once it exists. The newsletter gets the announcement first.
Resources
(coming soon)
Templates, tools, and checklists for each stage of running a business. Not live yet, but on the list.
