Our Commitment to Accessibility

MB Arrok, doing business as Unseen Founder (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to ensuring that our website at https://unseenfounder.com (the “Site”) is accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that every person should be able to access, navigate, and interact with our content with dignity, ease, and independence, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

We strive to provide an inclusive digital experience that conforms with applicable accessibility standards and guidelines, and we are continuously working to improve the accessibility and usability of our Site.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). These guidelines provide a set of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard referenced by many international laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), the UK Equality Act 2010, and the Accessible Canada Act.

While WCAG 2.1 Level AA is our target, we recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process and that full conformance with all criteria across all content at all times may not always be possible. We are committed to making continuous improvements.

What We Are Doing

To support our accessibility commitment, we take the following steps:

  • Semantic HTML: We use semantic HTML elements (headings, lists, navigation landmarks, and labels) to structure our content in a way that is meaningful and navigable for assistive technologies such as screen readers
  • Text alternatives: We strive to provide descriptive alternative text (alt text) for meaningful images, so that the content conveyed by images is accessible to people who cannot see them
  • Color and contrast: We work to ensure that text and interactive elements have sufficient color contrast against their backgrounds to be readable by people with low vision or color blindness
  • Keyboard navigation: We aim to ensure that all interactive elements on the Site — including links, buttons, forms, and menus — are operable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse or other pointing device
  • Resizable text: Our Site is designed to support text resizing and browser zoom functionality without loss of content or functionality
  • Readable content: We write content in clear, plain language to support comprehension for all readers, including those with cognitive or learning disabilities
  • Form labels: We work to ensure that form elements (such as comment forms, contact forms, and newsletter signup forms) have visible and properly associated labels, so that they are usable with assistive technologies
  • Link purpose: We strive to ensure that the purpose of each link can be determined from the link text alone or from the link text together with its surrounding context
  • Responsive design: The Site is designed to be usable across a range of screen sizes and devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones
  • Ongoing review: We periodically review our Site’s accessibility and address issues as they are identified. We also monitor and evaluate new content before publication to minimize accessibility barriers

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations may include:

  • Third-party content: Some content embedded from third-party platforms (such as YouTube videos, social media widgets, and external forms) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. These platforms are not under our control, and their accessibility features depend on the third-party provider
  • User-generated content: Comments, founder story submissions, and other user-submitted content may not always meet accessibility standards (for example, images submitted without alt text). We make reasonable efforts to address accessibility issues in user-generated content as they are identified
  • Older content: Some older articles, images, or media published before our current accessibility practices were implemented may not fully meet current standards. We are working to remediate older content over time
  • PDF and downloadable documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully accessible. When possible, we provide content in accessible HTML format in addition to downloadable files
  • Complex media: Some multimedia content may lack captions, transcripts, or audio descriptions. We are working to improve multimedia accessibility over time

We are committed to addressing these limitations and improving accessibility across all areas of the Site as an ongoing priority.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

The Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software (such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom and text resizing
  • High contrast and custom color modes

The Site is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Using an up-to-date browser and assistive technology will provide the best experience.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have difficulty accessing any content or feature, or have suggestions for how we can improve accessibility, please let us know. Your feedback is important to us and helps us continue to improve.

You can contact us in the following ways:

Contact Page: https://unseenfounder.com/contact/

When contacting us about an accessibility issue, it is helpful to include:

  • A description of the accessibility problem you encountered
  • The web page (URL) where the issue occurred
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using (if applicable)
  • Your preferred method of contact so we can follow up with you

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to accessibility-related inquiries within five (5) business days and to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible. If we cannot immediately resolve an issue, we will provide you with an estimated timeline for resolution and, if possible, offer an alternative way to access the content or complete the task.

Assessment and Testing

We assess the accessibility of the Site through a combination of methods, which may include:

  • Automated accessibility testing tools
  • Manual testing with assistive technologies (including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation)
  • Review against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria
  • User feedback and reported issues
  • Periodic third-party accessibility audits (as resources permit)

Accessibility testing is conducted on an ongoing basis. We prioritize testing on high-traffic pages, core navigation, interactive features (forms, comments, search), and newly published content.
